A former college baseball player, Tom has taken the lessons learned as an athlete and applied them to his professional and personal life. He learned that often you have to work as a team and give up more personally in order for the team to be better off. He was known as a fierce competitor on the diamond and blocking the plate (no matter what the physical consequences were) to win a game was just one of the many ways he earned the respect from his coaches and teamates as noted by being named team captain on almost every team he played on.
Tom currently runs CVT Ventures where he and his founding partners help other entreprenuers revolutionize industries. They have founded or co-founded more than 10 companies since coming together in 2004. Block The Plate will be a place for me to pass on information learned and hopefully help other entreprenuers in their quest to meet their goals and achieve their dreams.
